This is the ticket my sister left on my car last week, on an actual San Diego Parking Violation slip. I'm not sure where she got a hold of it, but I'm sure she thought it was impressive.

If she ever actually joins the police academy, she will have to work on her penmanship, but that can be improved with time. For now, I am forced to admire her handiwork. The only way I can think to one-up her is to spraypaint her car purple or just have it towed. I'm sure there are some middle-ground pranks in there somewhere but unfortunately for her I can't think of any. I guess what I'm trying to say to my sister in a nice way is I hope it was worth it to have a purple car you can't find.

very clever.
it makes me want to be a clever person, too.
in fact, from today i vow to lead a more madcap zany life -- i may even buy a purple car and tow it *myself*, how do you like me now?
PS. i'm very interested in the process of "spaypainting", and... ah, forget it, i got nothin.
i'm impressed. and, as is my lot in blog-world, i'm late as usual. was going to make a slight jab about "spaypainting" (think it sounds dirtier than it translates to) but someone else beat me to it (sigh...).
bryan, not everyone can be madcap pranksters, don't feel bad. that's part of why you guys didn't know what "spaypainting" was. "spaypainting" is simply "spraypainting" misspelled! boom, now who got punked??
she's borrowing my car this week, so be very very careful with that paint. Just playin' with ya, but that's pretty clever, even for her. :)
Ha! Maybe this was just her very sly and subtle way of getting a new paint job without having to pay for it. Boooyaka-sha! Didn't think of that, didja? I have to say though, she IS clever. You forgot to say that the make & model was "Volkswagen Jetta?"
You drive a "Jetta?"
I always took you for more of a Gremlin or a Tercel type.
and here I thought you had a Passat....gee...life happens when you are down there in San Diego..and me up here....tell me about the new car...the thicket though was a stroke of genius..and of course as she is an attorney you mustn't wonder how she comes up with traffic tickets...she probably saw an officer and asked him in her charming way for a blank one...lol...hee hee...perhaps it was meant for her and she talked him out of it..and gave it to you??? didya think of that???huh???
i do not drive a jetta, this is an outrage!! :)
